On December 5, actress Jacqueline Fernandez was on her way to Muscat when she was stopped at the Mumbai International Airport. A look-out notice issued by the ED against her had warned her not to go anywhere outside India.
Meanwhile, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) has filed a 7,000-page chargesheet against Sukesh Chandrasekhar and his wife Lina Maria and six others. The chargesheet has been filed in a Rs 200 crore money laundering case. According to the chargesheet, Sukesh Chandrasekhar, the main accused in the Rs 200 crore money laundering case, had spent crores of rupees on Bollywood actress Jacqueline Fernandes. It is said that Jacqueline was dating Sukesh at that time.
According to reports, Sukesh had given Jacqueline a horse worth Rs 52 lakh as a gift. A Persian cat worth Rs 9 lakh was given as a gift. Along with Jacqueline, the chargesheet also mentions actress Nora Fatehi. Sukesh had given Nora a very expensive car as a gift. The ED has already questioned both the actresses in this money laundering case.
Meanwhile, a few days back, Jacqueline was interrogated by the ED for about eight hours in a Rs 200 crore money laundering case. On October 23, Sukesh Chandrasekhar’s lawyer had revealed that Jacqueline was in a relationship with Sukesh, who is in jail. But Jacqueline said it was a lie. Jacqueline Fernandez has been called as a witness by the ED. She has recorded her answers and will continue to co-operate fully with the investigation, “said Jacqueline’s lawyer. Madras Cafe fame actress Lina Maria Paul was also arrested in a Rs 200 crore ransom case.
