Bomb disposal squads and dog squads are also deployed at the immersion ghats in the city. Immersion losses are being inspected by these teams every 24 hours.

For the last few days, the police have started holding meetings of Ganeshotsav Mandals within the boundaries of the police stations in the Commissionerate area. Police are advising people not to remove the procession and not to break the rules. Police have issued notices to Ganeshotsav mandals, loudspeakers and dholtashe squads for possible violation of Karona rules. Violation of the Corona rules will result in legal action, the notice said.

A police force will be deployed in Thane Police Commissionerate area on the occasion of Anant Chaturdashi. We have instructed the Ganeshotsav Mandals to follow the Karona rules.
