Backing of local leaders of Mahavikas Aghadi to the meeting in Vashi
Navi Mumbai: Late leader of project victims visited Navi Mumbai Airport on. Ba. There is a picture of division in the all-party movement as the local leaders of Mahavikas Aghadi withdrew from the agitation started for naming Patil. The discussion has started after turning its back on the all-party review meeting held in Vashi
CIDCO has approved a proposal to name the Navi Mumbai International Airport after the late Shiv Sena chief Balasaheb Thackeray and sent it to the state government. As a result, project affected people in Thane Raigad district got angry and staged a huge protest on CIDCO to attract the attention of the state government. The Mumbai High Court has expressed displeasure over the protest, which was staged during the Corona period. During the march, a warning was given to close the airport from August 15. The all-party action committee of Diba Patil Navi Mumbai Airport, which was set up for the naming agitation, then contacted the Union Civil Aviation Minister and discussed the strike. The work stoppage agitation was postponed as he raised the question of whether the work would be stopped and renamed.
Preparations for the agitation have been resumed after a three-month break. For this, a gathering of project victims from Mumbai was organized on Tuesday at Bhave Natyagriha in Vashi. However, the local leaders of Navi Mumbai, Panvel and Uran turned their backs on Shiv Sena, Congress and NCP, the constituent parties of Mahavikas Aghadi. Therefore, in the second phase of this movement, there is talk of a split in the all-party committee.
Earlier, we did not oppose Thackeray’s name. Leaders who used to insist on the name of Ba Patil have now started opposing Thackeray’s name. President of Agari Koli Bhumiputra Mahasangh Adv. Bhardwaj Chaudhary clarified this on Tuesday.
The airport was built by Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport, son of Raigad and former Chief Minister B. A. R. Demands are also being made to name Krantiveer Phadke of Antule, Shirdhon.
Department wise committees
Bhumiputras from five districts namely Thane Palghar, Mumbai, Mumbai Suburbs, Raigad are being united for this agitation and division wise committees will be set up.
CIDCO should send the proposal of all the names to the Center
Instead of approving a name proposal, CIDCO should approve the proposal and send it to the state government. An opinion is being expressed that the state government should send all those names to the central government. As the final decision on the naming will be taken by the central government, it is being suggested that the leaders of national democracy in the state should urge the center for the same.
