Mumbai – Central Maharashtra, including Marathwada, has been literally washed away by torrential rains. Many dams are overflowing due to this rain. After this, at the end of September, the picture is that the rains are increasing again in the state.
The meteorological department has forecast heavy to very heavy rains in the state for the next five days due to low pressure area in the Bay of Bengal.
A low pressure area has been operating in the Bay of Bengal for the past few days. As a result, rains have lashed many places in the state.
The low pressure belt in the Bay of Bengal is likely to intensify in the next 12 hours. Therefore, heavy rains are expected in most districts of Maharashtra.
The meteorological department has forecast heavy rains in Vidarbha, Marathwada, Central Maharashtra and Konkan.
