Container queues due to repair of flyovers on railway tracks

Navi Mumbai: Due to the increase in the number of heavy vehicles heading to JNPT port, the problem of traffic congestion on Amra Marg has become serious. Large queues of vehicles had formed on this route on Friday as repair work was underway on Fort Gaothan Chowk and the railway flyover behind it.

At the beginning of the flyover in front of the NMC headquarters, an oil tanker was stopped on the way to Uran. As a result, there were queues of vehicles in the direction of Uran Fateh on Friday afternoon. As a result, traffic was diverted under the flyover. The work of flyover at Fort Gaothan Chowk has been going on for last two years. So there is always a traffic jam in this place. This is compounded by the fact that light vehicles are traveling in the opposite direction. The construction of flyover in Belapur pass did not solve the problem of traffic congestion. There is a large population on both sides of the Amra Marg. Ekta Vihar on the one hand and Bhimashankar on the other.

Next to this road is Ryan International School in Nerul. Also next is the Wonders Park which is a tourist destination of the municipality and Navi Mumbaikars. There is a square on the Persian Hill leading to the mayor’s residence. Due to the access road to the area near Amra Marg, small vehicles come on the main road. This leads to accidents.
