Kalyan: Considering the disturbing experience of the Coronation period, due to the availability of sufficient funds for the development of the Sub-District Rural Hospital, a state-of-the-art laboratory has been set up at this place to diagnose 23 different diseases. Diagnosis of various diseases will be done at Rs. 20 to 250.

Shahapur Sub-District Hospital used to have a testing laboratory. Few tests were performed here. Therefore, patients had to go to Thane, Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, Pune for many tests. Considering the affordability of the patients, the hospital administration decided to update the laboratory of Shahapur Sub-District Hospital. Arrangements have been made in the laboratory for digital testing of 23 different types of patients.

Upon arrival at the laboratory, there is a seating arrangement for the patient, queuing arrangement, registration room, processing room, rest room, newspaper for reading, rest room, digital reporting room to keep the patient under observation for some time after examination. The laboratory is under the control of CCTV. Automatic doors, each room is air conditioned, said Ajay Kshirsagar, Laboratory Scientific Officer, Shahapur Sub-District Hospital.

Medical Superintendent Dr. Rajesh Mhaske, Laboratory Scientific Officer Ajay Kshirsagar, Mukund Kalushe, Pragya Jagtap, Umesh Patil, Geeta Shinde, Suchita Kolhe, Yogesh Bhere, Tushar Chopdar, Naresh Juhukar, Sandeep Lote have worked hard to set up the laboratory.

Free service to whom?

Free service will be available to Yellow Ration Card, Senior Citizens, Ashram School Patients, Pregnant Mothers, Accredited Journalists.

Shahapur taluka has a large tribal and remote area. Residents of the area, patients should have access to local medical tests. Patients should not feel the need to travel to other cities for testing. With this in mind, a state-of-the-art laboratory has been set up at Shahapur Sub-District Hospital.
